PostSubject: Werewolves and Immortality- A Theory   Sun Nov 11, 2018 8:46 pm

After some more thorough study into what I know about werecreatures, I've come onto some intriguing conclusions as to how a werecreature would obtain immortality.

Please note this is only my personal theory and of course is subject to contemplation and debate by others.

Now, my idea goes that the means by which you take on an animal form is by the obtainment of a spirit animal- whether it's the soul of a deceased animal, an embodiment of a species through tapping their information in the spirit realms, aid from a god, ect. The idea is that you have a copy of the animal's information spiritually and draw on it to change yourself- this way your body knows what goes where.

But... let's say that when you gain that animal form, it records more than animal information. Let's say it also holds *human* information- after all, how else could you transform back without an additional blueprint? Now let's say this information is retained in a static/ regenerative manner on the spirit plane. When you shift, your own information updates to match what is in spirit- what if this includes the state of your cells/ DNA? If you adhere to a certain blueprint, and the blueprint remains the same since the spirit matter wouldn't degrade like our physical bodies, shifting would essentially reverse the aging process.

What do you guys think?
